I love working with sugarpaste and fondant! My sugarpaste roses are all individually hand crafted without the use of cutters. For other flowers, like daisies and carnations, I tend to use plunger-cutters. I also specialise in making tiny baby cake toppers from MMP (sometimes using a mould) and then crafting clothes, shading with petal/lustre dusts and making tiny accessories for them.
When creating celebration cakes or cupcakes for children's parties, I am mindful not to add any nuts or alcohol to the mix. I also only use small, soft decorative sweets (e.g. mini marshmallows, fondant, mini choc candy, glace cherries etc).
Any glitters I use directly on the cakes are 100% edible (they are usually made from cornstarch).
However, there are non-edible but food contact safe glitters that I sometimes use on cake decorations (e.g. modelled figures/flowers) and which I would notify you of as inedible.
